I would like to take this moment to wish a very happy merry Christmas to all of you friends, family and visitors of this site . Its the best time of the year for family gatherings and joyfull moments with the ones we love. Its one of those rare times in Canada that we dont have  white snowy Christmas. It was green, gray and rainy. The veyr next day , on the 26th of december we received more then 15cm of snow and it feels like winter again. Oh well , enought blabla , I will get back on finishing the wedding pictures of Denis & Joe and will be back shortly with few more updates.

Dont be afraid to say it. Its Christmas and you should be proud to be christian and celebrate Jesus brith. Its not happy holidays or what ever politicaly correct wording that goverments forces us to say.

Congratulations to Denis and Joe on their wedding day just few hours before Christmas Eve. We had a blast taking pictures me and my beloved assistant Caren . The couple was amazing and they were open to all crazy ideas. Too bad we couldn’t take pictures outside in the snow, that’s because we had no snow in Christmas in Canada. The bride’s smiley face was bright like snow and the groom was unpredictablly fun and joyfull.

Just and update for the curious ones asking to see more of Dimple’s picture from the recent photoshoot I had with her. I retouched the pictures and compiled them on the internet in a flash format. Follow  the link here

Here its comes again , the time of the year where I start thinking of upgrading all my software. And one of the most expensive ones is Adobe Photoshop CS3 right after Microsoft windows. Photoshop Cs3 will include tools for photographers and will be available in 2 version. I will wait another week to download the free beta version from the adobe labs since there site is currently over flooded with traffic people trying to get there hands on the software.

At the same time , I been thinking of switching my PC workstation to MacPro. With the new intel Duo Core processor, the apple’s comptures are becoming faster and faster and the OS extremly stable. We will see , maybe within a year from now I will say by by to Mr Gates and switch over .

I had the pleasure today to work again with Dimple Sharma. An uprising star in Montreal and Toronto in the modeling and  film industries. We planned a photo shoot outside in the cold and then moved to the studio. I was working with my new Nikon D200 and right the camera half way through out the day started back focusing.  I was fast enough to see the problem and found a workaround quickly so I can finish the job and return the camera to the dealer the next day.

Past weekend I ruined somebody’s appartment and transformed it into a studio. Thanks to Michel, Yvonne , Christina and her friend Marjorie. I will post a video and some pictures of the photoshoot very soon, but I wanted for now to post a quick note to thank Michel for his hospitality and for letting use and abuse his place.

A good friend of mine got married in Australia. Back to Montreal she did another reception for her family here. I was the lucky photographer to capture thoses precious moments.
