Its always fun to be present at lebanese weddings. While I was still tired from the wedding the day before, in the morning the excitment was building up to be ready again and start capturing thoses priceless moments. Mabrouk to Christiane and Maroun.
I was so lucky and happy to be part of this amazing wedding of my good long time friend Caroline and her husband Eric. As the beautiful bride arrived by boat and walked the red carpet on the dock, guests were waiting on the main terrace under the blue clear sky as the ceremony started. I just love outdoors weddings , they have a completely different feel and everything seems more colorful due to the abundant available light. Congratulations to caro and eric and I wish them all the best forever.
August 23rd, Nikon announced its new arsenal of new Digital SLR cameras. beating Canon in every way. I been following the news very closely and reading forums up the the last minutes before the official release. Nikonians worldwide were going crazy waiting for the final countdown to finally witness the release of the Nikon D300 and Nikon D3. After so much hype and anticipation, we have 2 new products that are really revolutionary due to the new sensor design from Nikon. Finally a full frame 35mm EXPEED , low noise sensor capable of capturing 9 frames a sec at 12 megapixels is something that is really added on my wish list.
Competition is good, it will keep technology improving and prices going down. Canon have amazing cameras and Sony now is entering the market with a new APS sensor very capable of capturing great images.
I have been busy designing wedding albums for several clients that I have worked with this summer. Many of who have tight deadlines for delivery and except top notch products. To achieve these goals, I signed few deals with album manufactures in the USA and Europe to print, bind and deliver albums in a record time . I had to adjust my workflow to optimize my time processing images from capture until delivery. Its fun to go out and shoot a wedding, people tend to forget the hours spent by a digital photographer on his computer enhencing pictures and designing albums. Those coutless hours have to be maximized to get a full potienal out of all the tools and techniques put to our disposal.
