Oh boy winter is coming faster then expected. It was cold and cloudy . We barely made it before sunset.

 I had a great time working with Karine for our first photo shoot.

 What a deligh to photograph Pamela and Rob on a sunny day at the Old Port of Montreal.
Here is a little text that would help you understand better why its important to be at an engagement session before a wedding.

Importance of the Engagement Session
Since it’s unlikely that you’ve ever worked with a professional photographer, it’s only natural that you might feel a bit nervous about having your photograph taken in a public setting. Since your wedding day is not the best time to realize additional pressures, working with me to capture engagement photographs prior to the wedding allows you both to become comfortable in front of the camera. This experience also gives us the time to establish a personal relationship–a relationship built on trust and familiarity. Through this fun engagement session you’ll be able to get to know me better as your wedding photographer; I won’t be a near stranger on your wedding day.

You’ll also have the benefit of seeing how I work when I’m photographing people. And more importantly, you’ll be able to view the photographs long before the wedding, becoming more comfortable with the style of photographs that I’ll take as well as how great you can look in photos. This access will increase the confidence you have in yourselves as well as my capabilities as your wedding photographer. In fact, after our session you’ll really begin to look forward to the photographs that I’ll take on your wedding day.

I want to start by thanking Karim and Najla for this unique opportunity to allow me to capture those fun moments that no other couple so far came forward and had the courage to trash the dress. Couples can contact me after their honey moon so we can plan a photo shoot and its guaranteed to be original and different then any other.

Go ahead, you know you want to. Trash it. Get it dirty. Get it wet. Roll around in the mud. Drench it in the ocean. Totally trash it. Why? … Why not? You’ve made a commitment to your husband. He’s your one and only true love, right? Then you’ll never need the dress again. And no, your daughter won’t wear it in 20-30 years. So you have two choices:

1) Suffocate it in plastic and throw it in a closet
2) Show your husband how committed you are by trashing the dress, and get some great fun pictures while you do it!
