How luck am I to be honored by the Tayar family and do the their third wedding. Rachel & Eric decided to do their wedding in March, the so not spring yet season, but we managed to do some outdoor pictures. We drove to Montreal’s Old port and played a little bit outside in the freezing wind just to capture some fun and romantic pictures with this  fun,  young, in love couple. Rachel & Eric were very brave to stay outside in this cold weather. The reception was held at Le Crystal and the music was played by our very own and #1 Dj Nadim Naoum. Félicitations aux nouveaux mariés.

I answer that question almost every single time when meeting with new clients. Its good to invest in a quality wedding album to preset your precious wedding pictures. But what’s most important is to pick the right photographer. Wedding photography is about a lifetime investment of your unique wedding day that will last your lifetime. I suggest picking the right photographer for your wedding and if you can afford a wedding album before a wedding, you can always do it later.

I do get a lot of requests from married couples to design and produce a wedding album from the digital high resolutions files that they purchased when they got married. So again , its the album that makes a good photographer, but a good photographer that captures amazing priceless pictures and present them in a good quality album.

We are not going to argue what’s best, traditional matted album or digital flush mount album. Both styles are good as long as its not the bottom of the line.  I reserved my choices to offer my clients only medium to high end albums skipping the low end, well at least for weddings. I still offer a wide range of selection for different budgets.
