My new super model : Sofia

I just could not help it. I had to take her autograph.  She was truly a super model. From the looks , to the attitude and the energy she had. Sofia was a Korean and Lebanese mix and a great personality. First we had some fun at the studio playing around and take some pictures. Then we went to the park and played again and again. Sofia loved taking pictures and it shows. We will definitely do a part 2 very soon.

Is it really a recession ?

The other day I was meeting with a fellow photographer and he was suggesting his clients on a budget coffee table albums Wal-Mart quality. I was really amazed how low photographers get depressed in tough times to offer anything to their clients just to book a wedding. I took the time to explain to that same client requesting for these cheap books the difference with a professionally designed hand custom hand made albums. Again , wedding photography is a lifetime investment not a product that you buy like wedding cake or a wedding shoe. Its my obligation to enlighten and teach every client that walks to my office.

In difficult economic times , you find “professional” photographer” advertising on craigslist,  500$ photography service to the masses. It’s funny and I am amused by the two terms side by side
500$ = professional. I guess everyone is trying to make a buck left and right,  no matter what just to survive.
