Melissa & Jamie married in Varadero, Cuba.

Yesterday I arrived from Varadero, Cuba where I shot the wedding of Melissa & Jamie and all there friends and family . Its not my first destination wedding but its my first time meeting the couple down south and I was very anxious to meet Melissa and Jamie. The were a group of friends and family of 45 people and we spent 4 days before the wedding getting to know each other . We had a awesome time and I felt like I was among friends on vacation. It was a real delight meeting some amazing people from Newfoundland.

Wedding day comes, beautiful sunny day with some mild winds on the beach. After preparation shots and few portraits , here we are present with Melissa and Jamie on the beach in Varadero where they got married . The supper and reception followed at the Italian restaurant at the Iberostar Playa Alameda Resort. The next day we had a trash the dress session that I will post some images from in few days .

I see that you just arrived from exactly where i’m going to get married in a month from now – April 19th…
I’m wondering if you have more pictures of the resort, etc?
And if you have any suggestions?
I’m supposed to hire a photographer there…did you meet any that were any good?

Wow, I just really love this set of images. How awesome is it that you do weddings in Cuba?! The colors just really pop, I’m sure the couple will love them and I can’t wait to see your trash the dress photos as well. :)

Beautiful pictures. I’m getting married in march 2012. I’m very anxious and nervous about getting married to the Iberostar Playa Alameda. I saw you had some great shots of the wedding important locations. If you have more pictures, I would really appreciate if you could send them to me. Also looking for a good photographer, if you have some names and tips for us.
