A little bit about me

Hi, I am Paul
There was no formal path into photography — no school, no traditional training. Just an instinct to observe, to anticipate, and to recognize that the most meaningful moments are rarely staged.
Seventeen years later, that instinct has evolved into a refined approach shaped by experience, precision, and restraint.
My work lives in the balance between presence and discretion. At times, I move quietly — unnoticed, documenting what unfolds naturally. At others, I step in with intention — guiding with subtle direction, an editorial eye, and a sensitivity to light, space, and composition. The result is imagery that feels effortless, yet considered.
I believe the most powerful photographs are the ones that were never forced — the ones that exist somewhere between instinct and intention.
Over the years, I’ve photographed weddings in every condition — shifting light, unpredictable timelines, and environments that demand adaptability. Some of the most compelling work comes from those moments, where nothing goes according to plan and everything becomes real.
I’ve documented hundreds of weddings across Montreal and internationally, each one distinct in culture, scale, and energy. My role remains the same: to stay attentive, composed, and aligned with what truly matters.
I accept a limited number of commissions each year to ensure every client experience is thoughtful, seamless, and uncompromised — from the first conversation to the final gallery.
For those who value discretion, intention, and timeless imagery — we will understand each other.
